About Us

Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative Inc. was incorporated in 1937 to provide electricity to rural areas of Central Texas. The co-op has more than 18,000 members and over 23,000 meters served by nearly 4,000 miles of line. The service territory of the cooperative spans across the following counties: Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, McLennan and Milam.
